Tec Basics
Consists of two knowledge development segments, one practical application and two no stop dives. Designed for divers who want to get experience and develop skills with tec dive equipment configurations while focusing on their buoyancy and trim. This course is also useful for technical divers who may need a refresher or an orientation to a new dive equipment configuration.
Description
Tec Basics is a multi-use course that focuses on orientation to new dive equipment, technical diving skills, and techniques. It is an optional level that can help divers explore new equipment configurations and refine their foundational skills before moving on to Tec 40 Diver.
To enroll in the Tec Basics course, you must meet these qualifications:
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, and PADI Rescue Diver recommended
PADI Enriched Air Diver

The PADI Tec Basics course consists of two knowledge development sections, one practical application session and two training dives. You'll learn about:
Technical diving equipment, proper rigging and setup
Trim, positioning and propulsion techniques
Team diving techniques and emergency procedures to deal with free flows and out of gas situation
Includes e-learning materials, certification and custom scheduling.
